Telescope

thingiverse lizard657 233257 Free

3d printed telescope built on top of a cardboard tube.

Instructions
Materials:
-Cardboard tube
-2 small lenses
-Small screw
-Glue
Steps:
Print both parts
Glue 1 lens into each end
Cut the tube down to a length close to the focus length of the lenses
Press the small lens mount into the end of the tube
Slide the second tube onto the cardboard tube
Screw the small screw into the cardboard tube near the top of the spiral track
Note: I used a tube that was smaller and more rigid than a normal paper towel tube. I recommend using a tube like this if you can find it. If you can't, you'll need to scale up the models.
