prusaprinters
This is a map of the whole surface of Mars that I obtained from a high definition 2D image. I used "Image to Lithopane" software, available at http://3dp.rocks/lithophane/ that converts images in b/w and subsequently in higher/lower layers. I modified the light/dark balance of the original image so that the heights and planes could be more accurate.
During the print I changed the filament so that each topographic contour could include the height translated in color.
Because the file size is huge, I suggest not to use an SD card to print this file: a delay caused by the reading of the information from an SD card could randomly pause the print.
