Source: New Taipei City Yingge Ceramics Museum Dimensions: Length 18 cm, Width 12 cm, Height 35 cm Material: Glazed pottery Age: 1970s Description: In 1962, Yingge began to manufacture ceramics for export. This brought a new look to the Yingge ceramics industry. Except for a few records available for reference, the manufacturers also obtained information from ancient artifacts or palace museum exhibits. Due to the underdevelopment of early information, the decorations on imitation ancient vessels did not match those of ancient artifacts. Appearance: The body of the vessel resembles a jade vase with a mouth like springtime, a slender neck, and a round belly shape. It has an S-shaped long pouring mouth, a thin handle, and a lid. There is a phoenix-shaped knob on the lid. The belly of the vessel has water droplet-shaped openings on both sides, which are a kind of relief carving of double cranes. Glaze decoration: On the belly of the vessel, there is no glaze on the opening places. Above that, there is golden glaze with no luster. Other parts have transparent glaze first, and then various types of enamel painting are applied. The entire belly is covered with gold money silk pattern, and at the front and rear top of the belly, there are small openings with plum blossom patterns painted on them. On the middle part of the neck, there are banana leaf patterns, while below it has dark red opening and beading decorations.
