Scaly dragons like to show off their strength before a fight by dancing and rattling their scales. As the dance reaches its climax, they let out a fierce battle cry and charge at their opponents. Their scales are very protective, so scaly dragons don't worry too much about defense - they just attack with everything they've got until their opponent is overwhelmed. This means that many of their scales get broken off in the fight, which proves how intense the battle was. Scaly dragons then use these broken-off arm pieces to show off their victory.
