The dualistic concept of yin and yang originates from ancient Chinese philosophy. In China's past, the opposition and unity in all things, such as heaven and earth, sun and moon, day and night, cold and heat, up and down, left and right, movement and stillness, and punishment, were described using the idea of "yin and yang." Abstract relationships characterized by reciprocity and dependence, along with the concrete representation of qi, embody this abstract relationship.
