The darkness closed in around me, an oppressive shroud that suffocated all light and reason. I felt tiny and insignificant, a mere speck of dust in the vast expanse of a seemingly endless nightmare. I knew I had to get out, to escape this prison of fear and find sanctuary in the bright lights of reality. But my legs refused to move, frozen in place by some unseen force that held me captive. The darkness seemed to be closing in faster now, its grip tightening like a vice around my throat. I was running out of time, and soon I would be consumed completely.
