Branches encircle the rice symbolizing guardianship of cherished items and a desire for people to appreciate and preserve local culture in Taitung County. Due to collection management, using the whole branch pruning technique, combined with improved fertilization management, the harvest period can be adjusted to twice a year, from July to March, providing fresh produce for the market, making it one of the most important economic fruit trees in Taitung County.
