Fishermen commonly call the boat people by a particular name, and on the street there is a land god, but at the end of the street, there is also a land god. The Lu Xun Temple in Road Ring is particularly prosperous, it's said that it was especially donated by devout fishermen. I think the waterpeople worshiping the land gods have something peculiar about them, no matter how strange or absurd. It's like this: The immortal Taoist priest prays to the Buddha, and calls him "not three not four". The hypocrite gentleman prays to the Zhong Kui God, and says it's a deception of heaven and earth. The high-ranking official pays homage to the Golden Flower Goddess, saying she is useless. The wealthy businessman prays to Guanyin Bodhisattva, saying he feels deeply grateful from within his heart. The man who knows he is worthless prays to Guan Gong, saying he hopes for a favorable wind. The sick person with a critical illness pays homage to the King of Hell, saying his life force cannot be saved. The brave warrior with a broken arm prays to Lu Ban, saying he is unable to accomplish anything. The fake foreign devil pays homage to Jesus Christ, saying he admires foreign things and flatters outsiders. So what do waterpeople call their land gods? It's something that exists everywhere in the world, without exception!
