Japanese Jomon Period, Middle Late Stage. Kasori E-II Type.\nMale, aged 30 to 50 years old.\nThe body was buried in a flexed position, prone (supine flexed burial) with the feet bent under the torso.\nA healed fracture is visible on the right fibula (calf bone).\nNo personal adornments or burial goods were found.\nThe excavation took place in August 1968.\nIt was the first human remains discovered at this site.\nThe original bones are stored at the University of Tokyo's Museum for Advanced Research.\nSummary from the exhibit caption.\nPhotographed on July 2020, at the Chiba City Kasori Shell Mound Museum.\nNumber of shots: 73\nEquipment used: iPhone 8 Plus\nShooting conditions: Through a display case, under display lighting.\nSoftware used: Agisoft Metashape Professional.
