Design Concept: Although the Lotus is not a native species to Taiwan, it thrives on the soil of Taitung and can be seen everywhere. Therefore, I chose the lotus as the main design element to showcase the beauty of Taitung. The material used was glass, which shines brightly under light sources and displays different colors, highlighting the beautiful glimmer of the lotus. Lotus flowers prefer dry soil, making them ideal for cultivation in Taitung's non-humid and hot climate. The edible part of the lotus flower is the dried calyx, which can be used as tea or honey candies after drying.
