Mauser Military Pistol. The Mauser pistol is manufactured by the German Mauser Arsenal and is one of the earliest automatic pistols in the world. It was developed by the German Feder brothers and named after Mauser. Mauser received a patent for the pistol on December 11, 1895, and began mass production the following year. Due to its gun case being a wooden box, it is also known as a Box Gun or Repeating Rifle in China. The Mauser M1932, also known as Rapid Fire Type, was produced in large quantities in May 1931. This model was improved by Karl Westinghouse of the Mauser Arsenal on the basis of the M1930 and obtained a patent in April 1932, naming it the 7.63mm M1932 pistol. The wooden gun case can be mounted on the handle to resist shoulder shooting, also known as assault pistols. This pistol was produced in large quantities, with over 98,000 units produced, almost all of which were exported. Between 1925 and 1935, China sold 4 million Mauser pistols of various types. The Mauser pistol has been widely used and has undergone rigorous testing during wartime, demonstrating excellent performance and reliability, making it a primary self-defense and combat weapon for the Workers' and Peasants' Red Army.
