In the inner sanctum of a shrine dedicated to the Monkey Star, scattered wooden components are being reassembled into their original form on a 3D computer model. The reconstructed height reaches 147 centimeters. The statue itself bears six images of Jizo and one image of Amida Buddha. A pole bears an inscription reading "Created as an act of reverent restoration for the 33rd year / Dedicated to Saint An by Reverend Hogen, Lord of the Mountain's birthdate / In the second year of Daiei (1523), in the third month, during the period of Obon, this was erected with reverence." It is known that it was built in 1523 for the purpose of a memorial service for the 33rd year. The underside cannot be recorded. Made from granite. Located in Meitadamachi, Kiryujoshi City, Gunma Prefecture. Designated an important cultural asset by Kiryujoshi City.
