The monument commemorating the history of the governor of Nago, Shunbetsu Castle, was written by Takamine no Okinori, who is the grandson of the last governor of Nago, Tokitsune. In 1742, Okinori was appointed to manage the castle. On August 14, 1749, he composed this text and had it inscribed on a stone monument by Mōyūki (Genta Oyakata Tenyu), who was a castellan of the castle. The monument is located inside Shunbetsu Castle in Nago, Okinawa Prefecture, Japan.
