The statue stands at a total height of 185.5 cm, with six Jizo statues and one Amida Buddha image carved in half-meat relief on its body. The pillar is inscribed with a large character inscription that reads: "奉彫刻石塔六地蔵大菩薩／右意趣者為奉納／大乗妙典六十六／部之供養也伏願／依其功力現世安／穏後世善処乃至／法界平等利益焉／大永三年癸未三月吉日／ 願主光円坊／権少僧都栄賢敬白" which translates to "Ponchokuzoukutsu Rokusaijizōdaisambatsuka / Right ichie shaku no Ponchoka / Daijobutten rokkajūbun / Shugyou suru koto ni yorikake / Genzessen anjin, gouseiken, hokkei byodoi / Dai nana nen tsuitachi gatsu kichijitsu / Ganshuu kouennpou / Kenshu keishin no kiwami." The inscription is a poem that reads: "In the great year of Daieitoku, three years ago, on the twenty-first day of March, the third month of the third year of Daiyomei, I, Kakuenshuu, the younger monk Tetsuhisa, carved this statue with my own hands and inscribed it with a message." The inscription is an expression of gratitude for the blessings received from the Buddha.
