Humans have always been fascinated by the history of development along the coastline, and the area known as Zhu Li is no exception. Located near Sha Lan Zi, this region has undergone significant changes over time, with the Portuguese establishing their settlement here to take advantage of its proximity to Guangzhou's rivers and the natural shelter provided by the Flower King Temple's high point. The construction of small gates gradually led to the growth of an Australian city, which was eventually connected to the rammed earth city wall after several expansions. Various names such as "New Open Gate" and "Sha Li Tou Gate" were used, while a separate city gate called the Flower King Temple Gate was built nearby, testifying to the frequent exchange between Chinese and Western cultures. The influx of Chinese people led to the construction of floating houses on the shore, which also had the effect of reclaiming land from the riverbed. As a result, the riverbank functions were transferred to areas such as Kuai Ding Tou and Si Meng Che Dou. Later, the city walls were built higher, and the fishing village was transformed into a gaming town...
