In the midst of a sweltering Macau street, rows of connected houses stood side by side. The scorching sun beat down relentlessly, causing sweat to pour down the backs of passersby and slow their gait. Heads hung low in exhaustion. In an ordinary-looking shrine, devoid of any sense of divine presence, a cartoon cat with no mouth greeted me warmly: "Hello!" My mind reeled as I thought, "What if it's not so strange?" Yet, it was indeed peculiar. Had the heat seeped into my skull, clouding my mind and causing my ears to ring? Tears welled up in my eyes, casting a hazy vision over everything. I tapped my brain frantically, but couldn't make sense of the bizarre occurrence: "What's wrong with me? Am I sunstroke or experiencing a mental breakdown?" Hold on, the shrine did contain a Japanese toy cat. Could it be that there was a hidden mechanism designed to deceive unsuspecting visitors? On a bright and sunny day, who would engage in such low-level trickery? The cat spoke up innocently: "Hello! Hello! Don't be ridiculous... I'm Hello Kitty, loved by people of all ages!"
