The Jade Emperor's descendant, Deity Star, is a Taoist immortal who resides in the farthest reaches of the void and is separate from the earth god. It's surprising that this star deity, who fell into the mortal world by mistake, would also come to offer blessings for mundane things like "eastern prosperity" and "business flourishing." Even more astonishing is that a red envelope on an oil tank has been labeled with the phrase "abundance of wealth." In addition to resembling the earth god in form, this deity also embodies the spirit of seeking profit in the secular world. Could there be some hidden wisdom behind this - the construction of this altar is currently underway and once completed it will resemble a spacecraft ascending to the heavens, allowing "investors" to ride the wind and soar to new heights with the Hang Seng Index, exploring the realms of the spirit, accumulating wealth and luxury properties, and even joining the ranks of Chang'e and the Jade Rabbit. This vision is undoubtedly an Macau version of Leonardo da Vinci's cosmological diagram. However, as a mortal, I am only concerned with living a peaceful life, free from worry, as I walk through the dust of the world. Whether it be the earth god or the wealth deity, I will simply pass by and pay my respects.
