The monarch snake is a long, slender Pokémon with an olive-green body. Unlike its predecessors, the vine snake or green vine snake, the monarch snake loses its hind legs and develops only leafy front limbs after evolution. Three deep green leaves sprout from near the tip of its tail. The monarch snake's body features yellow markings reminiscent of regal crests. Two loose, curly vines adorn its neck, resembling a suit collar. Its eyes are red, giving it an air of nobility and dominance.
