The Ushiro Sakubi ruins, S53, are a Yayoi period pit dwelling site located in the mountainous slope section of Fujimori, Fukushima Prefecture. It is characterized by an irregular floor plan and shallow excavation, with a stepped surface that has been compressed. This type of dwelling is common in the middle Yayoi period of the coastal region of Hamadori, Fukushima Prefecture.
