The surface has geometric patterns carved out, with continuous band-like geometric decorations on the rim and upper body. The vessel's decorations are extremely intricate, showcasing special craftsmanship techniques, representing cultural significance, and is the only one seen in Taiwan's prehistoric culture. In 2009, it was designated as a "national important artifact" by the Ministry of Culture.
