Mathematically, two triangles are congruent if they have the same size and shape. In other words, their three sides and three angles must be equal in measure. There are several ways to verify congruence: SSS (side-side-side), SAS (side-angle-side), ASA (angle-side-angle), AAS (angle-angle-side), and RHS (right-hand side). This object allows students to try out whether a combination of 3 conditions can form a unique triangle. For example, what if you choose 3 sides, 2 angles, and 1 side, or 2 sides and 1 angle? How about 2 angles and 1 side? Print out the following labels: A1, A2, A3, S1, S2, S3, each on a separate sheet. You will also need 2-3 M2 screws.
