Design Concept: The design takes its cue from the national treasure-level jade artifact, the human-animal shape jade, on display at the Taiwan Prehistory Museum in Taitung. It aims to evoke a sense of Taitung and the Puyuma culture upon seeing the human-animal shape jade. The design utilizes green crystal as the material, not only replicating the original color of the human-animal shape jade but also serving as an essential material for indigenous Taiwanese creative industries. Designer: Lu Li Chen Object Dimensions: (LZ01-1) 3.5 x 7 x 0.6 cm, (LZ01-2) 10.8 x 6 x 3 cm, (Assembled) 10 x 8.5 x 2.6 cm Suggested Use Method: The rail head is placed on either side of the curtain track, serving as a decorative element. It is recommended to purchase a 25mm curtain rod and attach this work to both ends of the curtain rod. Approximately 40 human-animal shape jades have been unearthed in Taiwan, with only one complete piece discovered in Puyuma in 1984 being designated as a national treasure and housed at the Taiwan Prehistory Museum. Some archaeologists believe it was used as an ear ornament, while others think it served as a burial accessory.
