こけし (Kokeshi) 3D Printable Kokeshi Family

Kokeshi dolls originated in Northern Japan's Tohoku region, crafted from dark cherry wood. Post-World War II artists revitalized ancestral techniques to create unique, modern Kokeshi Dolls featuring innovative shapes and designs. Initially, kokeshi symbolized children, with some believing they represented a wish for a healthy child and others associating them with drawing children closer to mountain spirits. Today, I introduce a creative twist on traditional Kokeshi Dolls: 3D-printable wooden toys. You can find the 3D printable Kokeshi Family designs in .Stl file format here. I printed these models in white to allow for customization - feel free to paint or draw your own unique designs, even incorporating tattoos.
