Tsukuba City's Sakura (Techno Park Sakura) is home to "Tama-chan", a karaage specialist where you can taste the authentic Japanese soul food like fried chicken. The super collaboration between Unofficial Tsukuba Ambassador and RESEARCH INSTITUTE for EARTH SCIENCE VISUALIZATION TECHNOLOGY has created this 3D model of their Karaage. Many local shops in Tsukuba have their own unique Karaage, but now you can see them all together in one place. This project makes the great information public with real shape data. The Unofficial Tsukuba Ambassador and RESEARCH INSTITUTE for EARTH SCIENCE VISUALIZATION TECHNOLOGY collaboration is a result of knowing local information inside out, thanks to their hard work in collecting 3D data from each shop's karaage. This unique approach brings together local and technology in a way that only Tsukuba can.
