This is the third headquarters of the former Postal and Telegraph Department, a large five-story building (including an underground floor) that was officially opened on June 24, 1940 by Lieutenant General Pla Soonthorn. The building is designed in Art Deco style by Phra Saroj Ratnimitr Nimmanhaeminda and Chit Sen Abhaiwongse. It has a T-shaped body with a symmetrical facade featuring large bronze griffins on the roof, as well as sculptures of mail stamps by Professor Silpathorn Pirasri. The building's historic value was restored in 2012-2013.
