Fossil Remains Discovered in Morocco in 2015 from the "Fezouata Biota". Eggirocassida Lived in Early Ordovician Oceans, 480 Million Years Ago. The Animal Got Its Name after the Scandinavian Sea God Egir, Latin Shell Symbol (Cassis), and Moroccan Fossil Hunter Mohamed Ben Mula, Who Found Arthropod Remains. Like Modern-Day Toothed Whales, Aegirocassida Filtered Sea Water, Straining Plankton Using Fan-like Appendages on Its Head. The Animal Caught Prey with Paired Appendages Next to Its Mouth. Each Segment of the Appendage Had a Long Curve with Dense Hair-like Structures About 1 Centimeter Long. All Segments of Aegirocassida Had Paddle-like Appendages on Both Sides, Which Looked Like Fins. The Model Was Made by Eugene Makhnev.
