Human ancestors emerged in central Africa around 2.4-1.9 million years ago. T.S. Balyueva and E.V. Vesselovskaya created a sculptural reconstruction using plastic, while A.I. Akhtamzyan performed the scanning. Early Homo representatives appeared on African savannas 2.5 million years ago. They differed from Australopithecus by having stone tools and a larger brain (650 grams), as well as a diet dominated by meat.
