The Transfiguration-Monastery was established in 1642 to the southwest of Yenisei outpost. The monastery occupies a large territory, divided into two parts: the front (eastern) and rear (western). On the grounds of the monastery at different times there were a resident's courtyard with government grain reserves, the rector's building, brotherly cellars. The Spassky Cathedral was built in 1731-1750. It has a longitudinal three-part composition: church with deep semicircular altar apse, refectory with two side chapels (Intercession and John the Baptist) and belfry, elongated along one axis. On the grounds of the monastery is located the Church of Zachariah and Elizabeth (1785-1796), which is located east of the cathedral and belongs to the type "small" eight-sided on a square. The reconstruction of the Spassky Cathedral was carried out on the basis of several sources: archival and modern photographs, drawings of the cathedral. The gateway church of Zachariah and Elizabeth has practically been preserved. Its restoration was performed on the basis of project documentation.
