Team, this is my first model uploaded here, nudged by the contest!!This is an original piece, mechanical automata, manually actuated, without the need for any non-printed parts. This is inspired by recent world events.I'm making my design public (yes, the actual underlying files with all the features), just in case someone wants to play with it and improve it. The link is in the file.Note: As this includes moving pieces, please bear in mind that the tolerance of your printer, orientation of parts and layer heights will make a huge difference.Regardless of how well you have it dialled in, because we're talking about camshafts, the assembly will benefit from some smoothing/ sanding, as the finishing touch.You can adjust the amplitude of flight by the length of the Bird-body pin (which you can resize/ snap as you please).The trade-off and your options: I'm providing 2x sets of models, to suit your own preference (either glue + no-supports, or supports + no-glue - the only difference if that some bodies are split).All parts are labeled, and they should just slot in place (provided the note above).
