The grid is made of corrosion-resistant steel and consists of a welded frame (1) mounted on pivot bearings (2), the screen grille, and overhead equipment. The screen grille is an infinite filtering fabric consisting of perforated panels (3) in a stepped shape. Panels are hinged to two flat chain links (4) made of corrosion-resistant steel with plastic sprockets and driven by a motor-reducer (5) through a drive shaft (6) and stars (7). In the submerged part of the chain, it slides around non-rotating lower guides (8), made of wear-resistant plastic. The gap between the grid threshold and panels is closed by a belt brush from polymer bristles (9). Moving upwards, the panels pull out small particles stuck to them from the sewer channel. Larger debris is caught and removed from the channel by steps of the panels. In the upper part, perforated panels are cleaned on the outside with a rotating cylindrical brush (10) made of polymer bristles in the opposite direction, and on the inside - with a jet of water through flat-fork nozzles (11). The brush is driven by a motor-reducer (12). The distance between the shaft of the brush and the filtering screen is regulated by a node (13). The brush is closed with a removable casing (14), the lower part of which is a chute for unloading debris (15). In the casing, there is a rubber scraper (16) for cleaning the brush. To access the brush, there is an opening (17) in the casing. On the grid frame, there is a rubber scraper (18) that prevents debris removed from the screen from getting back into the channel. Panels (3) on the back of the filtering screen are turned to a position parallel to the flow for reducing hydraulic resistance and preventing accumulation of small particles in the grid body. To reduce wear at points where panels rub against the grid body, anti-friction plastic pads (19) are installed. Above the sewer level, removable lids (20) are mounted on the frame for servicing perforated screen panels. The shut-off valve of the node is installed on a pivot bearing, consisting of an electromechanical crane (21), a coarse filter mesh (22), a mechanical crane (23), and a flexible hose with a coupler (24) for connection to the water supply system. The angle between the water jets and panels is adjusted by rotating the collector (25) with nozzles installed in the frame. The collector is connected to the shut-off valve with a flexible hose (26). The grid is equipped with a cleaning system for the filtering screen and a control system, consisting of an ERPE control cabinet and an external ERPE remote control panel. Transporting the grid is carried out on a wooden pallet or in a metal transportation container, which are removed before starting operation. The grid can work in automatic and manual modes.
