The old shack looks like a brick building at first glance, but upon closer inspection it reveals itself to be a pair of supporting structures made from wooden beams and filled with brickwork. The strict 4-sided roof adds a stern look to the buildings in the style of towers. I managed to get information from a conversation with an elderly resident, a native Frankovician who also happened to own the building. According to her, at one point in time, back in the early 20th century, there was a Jewish family living in house number 17, and they were involved in the meat trade. Their relatives visited here about 10 years ago and shared stories about their experiences. The woman still remembers when she moved into the almost new building (number 17b), which now barely touches the old shack-chimney. The structures showed that further back, people used to slaughter livestock for meat, and there was even a special channel for blood collection. Today, not even a trace remains of it, just small plots.
