The yoke was a thin cylindrical wood, thinner at the edges and thicker in the middle. At the bottom it was attached to a wooden crankshaft with a hole in the middle that made the yoke heavier facilitating its vertical rotation. On the lower surface of the crankshaft are engraved geometric or plant motifs.
