Čestmír Mudruňka - Žena na slunci (Statue 3D Scan)

Photogrammetric scan of marble statue "Woman in the Sun" made in 1985 by Čestmír Mudruňka is successfully completed. Statue can be found on Anastázova street, Břevnov, Prague, Czech Republic. However, some artifacts remain due to difficulties encountered during scanning. Over 180 photos were taken and a 3D mesh was reconstructed using MVE. Some rough cleanup was done in MeshLab, followed by manual fixes and detail resculpting in Blender. The process was then repeated with post-processing in MeshLab before publishing here. Two 3D files are available: STL containing only geometry for 3D printing purposes and PLY containing both geometry and color for viewing enjoyment.
