Having a few fruit trees, it's really frustrating to see the starlings and other birds devouring the fruits as soon as they're ripe, before you can harvest them. I used to hang a CD on a string all year round, but I found that it didn't provide enough flash with the sun. This method allows for 5 times more flash. The photos and 3D models shown are version 1, with a version 2 available on my blog.
