I'm proposing here two modified earpiece designs for reduced-size face masks with hooks closer to the center, ideal for children or small-headed individuals. These earpieces offer a dual benefit: aside from alleviating ear fatigue caused by frequent mask-wearing, they allow for adjustable tension on standard public masks with varying elastic dimensions, particularly beneficial for children.
