Ánfora decorada (Siglo VI a.C.)

This piece is an obvious example where we can see the beginning of ancient Iberia. Decorative motifs consisting of concentric circle series on ceramic vessels were typical of societies in full Iberia, being this motif practically unknown in Phoenician settlements in Andalusia. We observe therefore a transformation of cultural features from colonizing-commercial Phoenician societies towards a very particular interpretation by the indigenous world that will result directly in the formation of full Iberian society.
