Zyltech 12V 30A Power Supply Cover
thingiverse
I recently purchased a high-performance 12V 30A power supply from Zyltech to upgrade my printer's outdated 20A stock unit, which was prone to overheating. The new Zytech power supply is significantly improved, boasting superior quiet operation and reduced heat output. However, I required a custom enclosure for the wiring, including space for the power switch and AC socket, mirroring the configuration of my Ender 3 printer. Fortunately, several excellent designs were already available on this platform that could be adapted to meet my needs, but I chose to create a completely original design as a learning exercise while transitioning to Fusion360. I utilized an old ATX power supply's socket and switch, which are becoming increasingly scarce, so I included a blank template for users to customize the holes according to their specific requirements. This design may prove useful for others looking for a similar solution. The custom cover was securely attached using three M4x10 screws in the larger holes, while the single smaller hole on the left side aligns with an existing M3 screw in the case. To ensure a seamless integration, replace this screw with a M3x10 screw threaded through the cover.
