ZX Spectrum Keyboard
thingiverse
This is a keyboard fram for the Retro ZX Spectrum. It holds standard Cherry switches and will require keycaps from a standard keyboard. I purchased a cheap £30 keybard from Amazon and unsoldered the keyswitches and re-used the keycaps. The switches will need to be hand wired and a cable made to run back to the matrix connections on the ZX Spectrum PCB. I used a 15 pin D-type plug/socket connection and a curly multicored stretch of cable. There are extra keys that can be wired as you like from the standard keys, eg an extra button for RUN or LOAD. I plan to stick some vinyl labels on the top of the keys that I got from some company years ago that label the keys as per the standard ZX Spectrum key markings.
