ZX Spectrum +3 - External FDD Enclosure v2
thingiverse
This is the v3 version of my external FDD enclosure for ZX Spectrum +3 computers. The two parts are completely redesigned to fit perfectly together. I have also created two designs of the top, one in a single piece and the second one in separate pieces. Dividing the top into two pieces makes it easier to print without using supports - although in this case, the two parts must be joined with glue for plastics. The rear includes two holes for 6mm diameter switches that allow you to select floppy drive unit A or B and to select the floppy side A or B. It also features an 8mm diameter hole for the power connector of the floppy drive. For the 34-pin cable, a gap of 1mm thick is formed at the rear when the two parts are closed (backside down), allowing the cable to come out without any issues.
