ZX Spectrum +3, Amstrad CPC6128/664/FD-1 & Tatung Einstein GoTek USB Floppy Emulator Internal Caddy (3" Drive Replacement)
thingiverse
A Gotek USB Floppy Emulator Caddy that fits systems with an internal 3 inch disk drive, such as the ZX Spectrum +3 and Amstrad CPC6128, 664, and the external drive enclosure FD-1. The front plate has holes for a standard gotek board (green led, two buttons, and a usb socket), a rotary encoder (KY-040 type with no circuit board), and a 128x32 0.91" OLED display. A cap for the OLED socket is included within the print to secure the display. Two caps are included for the two different sizes of display seen (one slightly shorter). All screw holes on the left & right hand sides line up with the CPC & Spectrum case, and you can use the existing case screws that secured the original drive. A modified version (_cspace) is added which gives a little more room for the capacitors on the OLED top and bottom. Some of the OLED boards have the caps very close to the edge of the PCB and these can rub against the holder possibly causing damage. The new version has a 1mm gap to stop this. An STL to only print the OLED holder top is added in case you misplace them. Another version with an extra 5mm height on the front plate is added to fit the Tatung Einstein computers. A version with a thinner rotary base for encoders with smaller threads is also added. For information on how to set one of these up, see http://tomdalby.com/other/gotek.html
