This is a replacement center piece for the Seestar S50 tripod that allows two of the legs to be opened to 90 degrees. This allows the tripod to be used in equatorial configuration. See photos. It is adjustable from about about latitude 40 to latitude 55 by adjusting the angle and length of the legs. Note that the Seestar becomes unstable unless the front legs are extended at least 50%. This part replaces the stock tripod center and uses the existing legs, washers and mounting bolts. When installing the legs, note that the raised portion that acts as a stop when the legs are opened is towards the outside. For best stiffness, print at 40% infill or higher. The 3/8-16 threads are printed but might have to be chased with a bolt or tap to get a good fit.
