ZWave.me Case
thingiverse
This is a wall mount case for the RaZberry Z-Wave.Me hat. Why have a case for a hat? Because the hat wont fit if you are running a heat sink (Or some cases), and more importantly, if you attach it to the Raspberry pi with 6 inch breadboard wires, you get better reception. That was my case, ymmv. The base is the same, but there are 2 designs for the lid. One is a 'tighter' fitting lid that just relies on friction to hold it on. The other is a looser fitting lid and is meant to be held in place by magnets. On both the base and top, there is a place for an 8mm X 3mm hobby magnet. I've used these on other cases and it makes maintenance so much easier to pop off the top, then replace and never have to worry about it falling off or sticking. I designed the mounts that hold the circuit board to 'click' into place. However, with such small tolerances, it was hard to get just right. What I ended up doing, and my advice is: Heat up the left and right supports just a little bit, press the board into the base, and then push the supports back over while still warm.
