This is a remix of Lord_draconical's "modular" ammo chain link system for the Zuru X-Shot Insanity Rage Fire Nerf-style minigun. This design works with the original links from Zuru, so it works as an add-on too, not just a replacement.I don't like printing with supports and this design gets me around that. Each link in the chain is a 2-part item. Alignment tabs ensure proper assembly and snap right into place. Minimalist adjustments have been made to the alignment method to reduce waste, shorten print time, eliminate sliding within the link sleeve, and make assembly easier. I have also adjusted the dimensions of the link body to give a tighter fit so the links don't come apart as easily. I also added some rounding to soften the edges in a few places to reduce snags.Last but not least, I added a scoop in the link arm to make link connection easier. Insert the bottom pin into the bottom link arm first, then slide the top pin into the scoop on the top arm and press it into place. This helps pry the arms gently apart for you as you pop the links together.Print the "tube" upright and the link laying on its back and the whole thing works without any support material. This has been tested and it feeds and fires perfectly.I am going to be looking into a rail-mountable ammo box design next.Zuru Xshot Insanity Ragefire
