ZuluSCSI RP2040 (Rev 2022d) 3.5" inch Enclosure
thingiverse
Custom combined standalone and 3.5"/floppy-bay PC front panel case for the very versatile ZuluSCSI RP2040 (mine is specifically a Rev. 2022d-board); a really well thought out and very usable piece of hardware, especially for old PCs and Macs."Features", or a BOM of sorts:25-pin D-SUB female SCSI portSlot for back ports; 50-pin flat-cable & 3.5" floppy molex power2 pcs of push-buttonsSD-card slotSlot for onboard MicroUSB femaleAdditional activity-LEDTop-side honeycomb mesh for a 30mm speaker driver (probably also could work as a vent for the RP2040 CPU?)Top-side slot for maneuvering the onboard switchesMounts together with 4 screws from your own hoard/collection, I have no exact measurements (as I indeed am a hoarder...)As the board itself can be powered out of SCSI termination power and the D-SUB is welled, the case works inside as well as outside the computer. I don't know how well the board would line up when case is mounted inside, say a synthesizer, or other appliances with fixed SCSI interfaces, sorry. As you can see in the picture, my own lid is slightly misaligned, the attached .stl-file for the lid is however fixed. Or let me know otherwise...Attribution & appreciation is not at all mandatory but most appreciated, keep it small - like a coffee or a small beer :)
