This spoon is designed to carbonate 0.33-liter bottles of homemade beer made with household sugar at a specific CO2 level. With the widely known [sugar dosage guide](https://www.hobbybrauerversand.de/Dosierhilfe-fuer-Zucker), you can carbonate 0.33-liter bottles at the lowest level to 5.5g CO2/liter. Along with this spoon, [the smaller one](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3936451) and the commonly purchased dosage guide, you can achieve the following carbonation levels. | Spoon | Grams of Sugar | Grams of CO2 per Liter | |------------------------|----------------|-------------------------| | Smaller Spoon | 1.53 g | 4.0 g/l | | Smaller Spoon | 1.86 g | 4.5 g/l | | Larger Spoon | 2.18 g | 5.0 g/l | | Purchased Dosage Guide 0.33 | 2.50 g | 5.5 g/l | | Larger Spoon | 3.16 g | 6.5 g/l | | Purchased Dosage Guide 0.50 | 3.80 g | 7.5 g/l | The sugar amount was calculated with [Fabier](http://fabier.de/biercalcs.html) (for a 20°C fermentation temperature). After printing and before use, it is recommended to check the printed spoon with a fine balance to ensure that the volume matches the grams of sugar listed in the table. To do this, weigh 10-20 small spoons and then divide the total weight of sugar by the number of weighed spoons. If there's too big a difference, recalculate and print again. In my case, it was spot on. Customized version of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:682146 Created with Customizer! https://www.thingiverse.com/apps/customizer/run?thing_id=682146
