Zuberio's Ender 3 cable chain but in ABS
thingiverse
I wanted to create a durable chain in ABS, so I made the following adjustments: 1. Increased the thickness at the bottom to ensure that materials like ABS and HIPS maintain their shape effectively; 2. Introduced play into the chain (holes and outer 'ears') - ABS has excessive friction that needed to be mitigated; 3. Modified cut-away supports to break away easily with a short bridge; 4. Added a bit of mass for the retaining clips on the inside to counteract the softness of ABS. I conducted a few test prints and measured how much my material shrinks. I had to scale up to 102% in both X and Y directions to compensate. These modifications were tested with ABS+ and HIPS, and they might also work with PETG.
