ZProbe Sensor Platform for Rostock
thingiverse
This was supposed to be a Z probe sensor mounted directly on the Platform, before you add your hot end, in order to calibrate your delta X, Y and Z Offset and also Radius. You need: some switches between 3-6 is up to you. They can be found on banggood at small sizes here or long ones here. Some soldering equipment and skill are required as well, along with a printer of course to print this. All the switches will be connected in parallel so when anyone is pressed, the ZProbe is triggered. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: Rostock mini Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 0.4 nozzle, 0.2 layer height Infill: 25% Notes: I used ABS since it makes a better precision part but it shouldn't matter that much. How I Designed This I started with the OpenScad sources from mini then duplicated the platform file removing what was not needed. A switch was measured and placed on the platform as a hollow space. Hollow corners were also added so wires could be threaded through them. Room for wire was included on the back since it would be bolted to the platform. If there are any problems with the current design I might add some space in the next iteration on the same face with the micro switch for a m3 nut Add space for hex nut / hex screw Just added the v2 with the hex space and cleaned up the unneeded carriage.scad Merge directly into platform A new version was added that merged it directly into the platform. You might not want to make it a separate thing but part of your delta platform. Note/TODO: It can be created some sort of ring that can be attached to trigger the switches. Maybe the holder of the extruder/hotend can have some sort of trigger mechanism.
