Zotac Magnus One
thingiverse
I saw this from a YouTuber called DoTheDiy and thought it was a great design, unfortunately was unable to get the model so the next best thing was to design one myself. I split the model into two parts as I have an Ender 3 and the build plate is not large enough, but this didn't cause any issues as the fan holds it all together perfectly :) There are five parts :- Top panel Bottom panel Button ring Button or Button with power sign I printed these with PLA+ as it gives you a bit more flexibility as the side clips need a bit of give. Used clear PLA to create the ring around the button, this just pushes into the hole, I found it to be quite a tight fit, and needs no securing. The 120mm Fan is the Slim P12 Artic PWM fan, this has a pass through cable for the main CPU fan which works great, also comes with screws which are perfect for this project. The power lead for the button needs an extension lead, they are a Mini Micro JST PH 4 pin connectors 150mm long. these came with the plug but the female end needed soldering on and heat shrink applied. I couldn't find one ready made, but you might get lucky, just remember to get it longer as I use the original cable as well :) I also printed these in best quality as the tolerances are not to forgiving. I removed the top mesh on the Magnus but left the sides, fitted a Noctua NH-L9i, Premium Low-Profile CPU Cooler for Intel LGA115x and a Noctua NF-A12x15 PWM chromax.black. Overall I'm pleased with the Mod, it's dropped the temperature while gaming, and has lowered the noise while playing quite a bit :) The LED in the front is very bright, so I might print a black backing cover to limit the glow of the orange, if your printing in a darker colour I don't think it will be an issue.
