The Zorky-5, a Soviet rangefinder camera manufactured between 1958 and 1959 by Krasnogorsk Mechanical Plant, replaced the initial Sharp-Sighted model. A total of 236,502 units were produced, with variations distinguished by minor logo spelling changes and external differences. The Zorky-5 was unified with the single-lens reflex camera Zenit-3. In its construction, parts from previous cameras like Zorky, Zorky-S, Zorky-2, and Zorky-2C were used. The Sharp-5's body is almost identical to the first Sharp-Sighted's, with interchangeable bottom covers.
