**Update** Moved the holes in the arms a bit further apart and enlarged them for better wire access. Additionally, I widened the hole at the bottom of the base to accommodate the wires. This is a ceiling mount that I designed specifically for the MXL USB microphone used in our conference room at work. Once it's installed, I'll add a photo here. The arms fit snugly into the base, and a light sand or trim will help them slide in smoothly. Each mic has a rubber pad on its bottom, requiring a bit of pressure to push down before inserting it into the arm. However, removing it afterwards can be tricky, so make sure you're committed to mounting it before fully securing it. The hole at the base is designed for a drop ceiling mount, but feel free to drill it out to suit your needs. Just remember to bring a long screwdriver along. Each mic arm has a small opening where the cable runs through, and then feeds into the portals in the base before exiting at the top (start threading from the top as it might get a bit tight).
